This signature contemporary home by Abhimanyu Dalal located in the heart of the city is flanked by high rise buildings. An elegant motor court leads to the entrance which is flanked by tranquil reflecting pools.

The glazed walls of the drawing and dining rooms overlook an expanse of lawn. An outdoor sculpture placed in the lawn is accentuated against a stone-clad wall. This installation sits in a longitudinal water feature. Existing and newly added vegetation, within and along the periphery of the site, block unrestricted view from the neighboring apartments. Visitor entrance to the lawn is along the side of a covered infinity swimming pool located adjacent to the patio. Taking into account the excessive monsoons of Kolkata, a pebble drain runs as a band along the edges of all open spaces.
